Terms of use
Last updated: 2 November 2026. The French version prevails in case of disagreement.
1. Purpose and acceptance
Puzclic is an online game: every day a picture is hidden under pieces that players reveal one by one before guessing what it shows. These terms apply to the website and the app. You accept them by ticking the box when you create your account; the accepted version and its date are recorded.
2. Account
- Sign-up is free and open from age 15; under 15 you need permission from a parent or legal guardian, who can write to us at any time.
- You give a valid email address and keep your password secret (at least 10 characters, with letters and digits). One account per person.
- You can download your data and delete your account at any time from your profile. An active Puzclic+ subscription must be cancelled first.
3. Game rules and rankings
- All players get the same picture on the same day. Points depend on the number of pieces revealed, speed and type of drop, and are computed by the server.
- Rankings (friends, leagues, country, world; day, month, year) are for fun and carry no prize, except an announced contest with its own rules, always free with no purchase required.
- Puzclic+ gives no ranking advantage: archive and pack games never count.
4. What is not allowed
- Cheating: multiple accounts, bots or automated tools, sharing the answer before the day ends, trying to bypass security.
- Usernames or league names that are insulting, hateful, discriminatory, sexual, impersonate someone or contain personal contact details.
- Using Puzclic for illegal activity or to harass other players.
5. Moderation and anti-cheat
- Automated detection: an automated check spots statistically improbable results (for example, very often solving with one or two pieces). The account is then marked “to review” and temporarily removed from country, world and contest rankings. It can still play and see friends and leagues. The publisher then reviews the account personally and lifts or confirms the measure.
- Reported content: anyone can report a username or league name through the Contact / report page. Reports are handled diligently and impartially.
- Possible measures: changing a username or league name, removing a score, exclusion from rankings, suspension or deletion of the account, proportionately.
- Information and appeal: the player is told by email about the measure and its reasons (facts, rule applied, any use of automated tools) and can contest it by replying or via [[email protected]]. They may also go to court.
6. Notifications
Notifications are optional. They are only turned on at the player's request and can be turned off in browser or phone settings.
7. Intellectual property
The Puzclic name, website, app and design belong to the publisher. Pictures belong to their authors and are used under their licence. Do not copy or reuse the game or its pictures beyond what their licence allows.
8. Availability and liability
The publisher does its best to keep the game running every day but cannot guarantee it, and is not liable for interruptions due to maintenance, technical providers, force majeure or the player's connection. For subscribers, the legal guarantees described in the terms of sale apply.
9. Changes, governing law and disputes
These terms may change; players are told about important changes before they apply. They are governed by French law, without depriving consumers of the mandatory rules of their country. In case of dispute, write first to [[email protected]]; consumers can then use the free mediator listed in the terms of sale or go to the competent court.
